Michelle Taylor

Michelle was inspired to open a studio based on its name, Mudita, the feeling of joy one receives from seeing others experience joy. Practicing yoga for more than 25 years, she wanted a deeper understanding, and decided to become educated as a certified yoga instructor initially for herself, and soon realized she wanted to share that knowledge with everyone. Michelle trained at Long Island Yoga School  becoming a 500RYT.  Always growing in her studies, she is also certified as the following; Breath Coach, Yin Instructor, Restorative Yoga for Breast Cancer and Surgical procedures, Yoga for Athletes, Think Wellness Mindfulness Training and Reiki. Michelle teaches a credited yoga course as an adjunct professor at Hofstra University.

Kelly Connolly

Kelly began her yoga journey twenty years ago while transitioning from her professional dance career. Her practice bridged the gap for her love of movement with spiritual and mental balance. She shares her yoga knowledge by teaching her students to find fluidity and grounding with each pose. Kelly is a 500RYT instructor training at Long Island Yoga School. She is also certified in Yin Yoga and Restorative Yoga for Breast Cancer and Surgical Procedures.

Kelly believes in mobility in the body, peace in the mind and gratitude in the heart.

Susan Lawrence

Susan's yoga practice has evolved over 25 years, her practice has been essential through many of life's transitions. Her teaching is informed by her ongoing transformative spiritual journey and her personal experience especially with the healing effects of restorative practice. Susan is a 500RYT instructor training with Andrea Karahalios in Miami and Red Tail Power Yoga in New York. She is also a Relax and Renew Level 2 Restorative Yoga instructor by Judith Hanson Lasater. She also has certifications in; Alignments and Assists and Nonviolent Communication - learning to listen to ourselves and others. Susan's classes offer gentle tempo breath guided movement with the use of props. Her hope is to share with her students the joy she has found through yoga.

Laurie has over 2o years of experience teaching yoga. She is an E-RYT 500 Yoga Instructor, Reiki Master, Yoga Alliance Continuing Education Provider and is the founder and program director of Long Island Yoga School established in 2007. She is one of the first yoga instructors to teach yoga teacher training certifications on Long Island! Laurie also serves as an adjunct professor at Hofstra University teaching a credited yoga course. Early on she trained under Alan Finger of ISHTA Yoga and Yoga Philosophy at Bhaktivedanta College. She is also certified in Yin Yoga and Trauma -Informed Yoga. Rooted in bio-mechanical principles, Laurie's classes meet the student where they are providing safe movement and accessibility. Laurie encourages you to come as you are and experience the freedom of yoga.
